The week ending 8/20/2017

This past week was a busy one. As many of you know, we had engine trouble at the beginning of the week and were down for two days. Luckily the boys were able to put everything back together in time for Thursday’s charter. So glad we’re back up and running- I get fresh sea bass for dinner-along with everyone else that came out with us. The sea bass were in abundance this week. We limited out early on every trip so the Captain had time to put his feet up, relax and have a few bonbons  for the rest of the trip. He was happy to be able to catch up on Garfield comics too. That cat is too much.

In actuality, we clobbered the blues after everyone caught their 8 seabass. You never know what you’ll end up fishing for- from seabass to blues. Porgies to fluke.

We also had a few night trips this week. On one trip, a family walked away with 50 pounds of blue fish filets. On another trip, we were told that they’d never caught so many fish on any other boat. Every trip we heard the three words that everyone longs to hear- “we’ll be back”.

Come join us this weekend for a Sunday open boat. We hope to see you there.  Call for details 860-442-6375 or call/text 860-941-1937.
