Fishing report 10/12/2017

These past few weeks have been crazy- in a good way. For the first time this year, we had open boat for the entire weekend. Saturday was a great trip. It was great to see so many of our repeat customers on the boat together. The fishing was slow to start, but luckily Capt Mike was able to pull the trip together and in the end, people had a great time fishing.

Sunday, we were forced to turn back due to the wind. So along with a half day fishing trip, customers were able to enjoy 😜a roller coaster ride.

Tuesday was opening day for blackfish. Unfortunately, no one told the blackfish. We ended up with a few shorts, some seabass and porgies. All in all, a nice day with great fishermen.

Today was our 3rd annual Customer Appreciation Trip. It was a beautiful day with very experienced anglers. Our friend Debby was able to catch a beautiful keeper blackfish, Jim caught some beautiful sea bass and blues, and Eddie and his grandson pulled in some keeper sea bass. (There were more people on board that caught some great fish, I only have so much room).

Thank you to everyone that chooses to spend their day fishing on the Tartan II. You make us who we are.
